Saturday 25 July served up a full round of Sydney Women’s Rugby Union action across four grounds. The Chikarovski Cup ladder tightened further in the race for the top four, while the Div 2 Cup saw the top of the table stay closely contested. Here’s how Round 13 and Round 11 played out.

Chikarovski Cup — Round 13 Results

Two Blues remain on top of the Chikarovski Cup ladder after Round 13, sitting on 49 points from ten wins in thirteen rounds with a differential of +175. Manly hold second on 45 points. Sydney Uni are third on 42 after a solid win over Gordon. Wildfires sit fourth on 41 following their win over Manly. Warringah are fifth on 39 after a dominant win over Souths, who drop to sixth on 29. Gordon are seventh on 24, and Easts remain without a win through thirteen rounds on 5 points.

Manly 22 v 40 Wildfires | Manly Oval

Wildfires were the stronger side throughout, running in 40 points at Manly Oval to move to fourth on the Chikarovski Cup ladder. Manly’s 22 points weren’t enough to prevent the loss, leaving them second on the table.

Two Blues 44 v 5 Easts | Holroyd Sportsground

Two Blues put 44 points past Easts at Holroyd Sportsground in a one-sided contest. The win keeps Two Blues clear at the top of the Chikarovski Cup, while Easts remain winless through thirteen rounds.

Gordon 12 v 29 Sydney Uni | Beauchamp Park

Sydney Uni were too strong for Gordon at Beauchamp Park, running out 29–12 winners to hold onto third place on the ladder. Gordon stay seventh after the defeat.

Warringah 53 v 0 Souths | Pittwater Rugby Park

Warringah were dominant at home, putting 53 unanswered points on Souths at Pittwater Rugby Park. A convincing performance that keeps Warringah fifth on the Chikarovski Cup table, while Souths drop to sixth.

Div 2 Cup – Round 11 Results

Wildfires 2 and Randwick are locked together at the top of the Div 2 Cup on 46 points apiece, with Wildfires 2 holding a superior differential of +236 to Randwick’s +166. Campbelltown sit third on 45 points after their forfeit win. West Harbour are fourth on 41 following a narrow win over Gordon 2. Two Blues 2 are fifth on 23, Norths Sirens sixth on 22, Manly 2 seventh on 17, Gordon 2 eighth on 10, Chifley Chiefs ninth on 2, and Easts 2 remain without a competition point.

Manly 2 0 v 50 Wildfires 2 | Keirle Park

Wildfires 2 were clinical on the road, shutting out Manly 2 while scoring 50 points at Keirle Park. The result keeps Wildfires 2 level with Randwick at the top of the Div 2 Cup ladder with rounds still to play.

Campbelltown 28 v 0 Two Blues 2 | Forfeit to Campbelltown

West Harbour edged out Gordon 2 in a tight contest at Beauchamp Park, holding on for a five-point win to stay fourth on the Div 2 Cup table.

Randwick 24 v 0 Norths Sirens | Coogee Oval

Randwick kept pace at the top of the Div 2 Cup with a 24–0 win over Norths Sirens at Coogee Oval, staying level on points with Wildfires 2 heading into the next round.
