About Sydney Women’s Rugby
The Sydney Women’s Rugby Union was established in 1995, providing a formal structured competition for clubs in Sydney to field a side.
Providing rugby competitions for all variants of rugby including 7s, 10s and 15s for senior players.
The winter season runs from April – August with 15s and 10s competitions across multiple divisions allowing players from elite to new to play the game.
The summer season runs from September – March focused on playing 7s tournaments with multiple divisions allowing players from elite to new to play the game.

Get involved and play women’s rugby in Sydney. There are more than 15 clubs to choose from across greater Sydney and even in Newcastle. Clubs compete across two divisions, so there is a club and competition for you no matter your experience level – whether you’re an aspiring Wallaroo or just looking to give rugby union a go for the first time.
