Sydney Women’s Rugby Union is back this Saturday 18 July, with Chikarovski Cup Round 12 and Div 2 Cup Round 10 both on the card. The title races in both competitions are very much alive, and results this weekend will have a direct say in how things finish.
Chikarovski Cup — Round 12 Preview
Manly lead the Chikarovski Cup ladder on 43 points after eight wins from eleven rounds, a points differential of +122, the best in the competition. Two Blues are second on 40 points, also with eight wins. Wildfires sit third on 35 points, Sydney Uni fourth on 32, Warringah fifth on 29, Souths sixth on 28, Gordon seventh on 20, and Easts remain without a win through eleven rounds on 5 points.
Three points separate Manly and Two Blues at the top. With the season entering its final stretch, this weekend’s fixtures — particularly the top-of-the-table clash between the two, will have a major bearing on the Chikarovski Cup final standings.
Easts v Warringah — Woollahra Oval | Sat 18 July
Easts are without a win through eleven rounds and host Warringah at Woollahra Oval. Warringah are fifth on 29 points and were held scoreless by Sydney Uni in Round 11, a result they’ll want to put behind them quickly. Warringah will be strong favourites here and need to return to their winning ways ahead of the closing rounds of the Chikarovski Cup. Easts will be motivated to finally get their first win of the season.
Wildfires v Sydney Uni — Newcastle Sports Ground 2 | Sat 18 July
Wildfires host Sydney Uni at Newcastle Sports Ground 2 in a fixture that matters for both sides’ positions on the Chikarovski Cup ladder. Wildfires are third on 35 points and will be looking to stay in touch with the top two — a win here is essential to keep any chance of finishing higher alive. Sydney Uni are fourth on 32 points and arrive in form after their 24–0 win over Warringah in Round 11. Both sides have something to prove, and both need the two points. The home advantage in Newcastle gives Wildfires a slight edge, but Sydney Uni have shown they can win away from home across the season.
Gordon v Souths — Chatswood Oval | Sat 18 July, 10:10 AM
Gordon host Souths at Chatswood Oval in what shapes as a competitive mid-table fixture. Gordon are seventh on 20 points but showed in Round 11 that they can make life very difficult for any opponent, their 30-point showing against Manly was their best of the season. Souths are sixth on 28 points and will be looking to build on their position in the final standings. A Souths win keeps them in the top half of the Chikarovski Cup table. Gordon at home won’t go down without a fight.
Manly v Two Blues — Eric Tweedale Stadium | Sat 18 July, 11:50 AM
The game of the Chikarovski Cup roun, and arguably the most important fixture of the entire 2026 season. Manly lead the ladder on 43 points, Two Blues are second on 40. Three points separate the two sides, and a win for either team shapes the Chikarovski Cup’s final standings in a significant way. Manly have been the competition’s standout performers across eleven rounds, 323 points scored, a points differential of +122, and have home ground advantage at Eric Tweedale Stadium. Two Blues have been equally consistent, eight wins from eleven, 255 points scored, and showed their quality with a 26–5 win over Souths in Round 11. This is the fixture that both sides have been building toward, and it deserves to be watched.

Randwick are third on 31 points and arrive at Round 10 in the form of the competition. West Harbour are fourth on 27, Norths Sirens fifth on 21, Manly 2 sixth on 17, Two Blues 2 seventh on 16. West Harbour v Norths Sirens — Concord Oval | Sat 18 July
West Harbour host Norths Sirens at Concord Oval. West Harbour are fourth on 27 point, their form across the second half of the season has been notable, including that Round 8 win over Campbelltown. Norths Sirens are fifth on 21 points with four wins and two draws from eight rounds. A competitive fixture between two sides who have been consistent performers throughout the Div 2 Cup, with ladder implications for the final standings.
Wildfires 2 v Gordon 2 — Newcastle Sports Ground 2 | Sat 18 July
Wildfires 2 are second on the Div 2 Cup ladder and host Gordon 2 in Newcastle. Gordon 2 have one win from seven completed rounds and face one of the competition’s best sides on the road. Wildfires 2 have scored 248 points across the season and conceded just 90, they will be strongly favoured here. A win keeps Wildfires 2 in the title race and continues the pressure on Campbelltown at the top.
Campbelltown v Manly 2 — Campbelltown Showground | Sat 18 July
Campbelltown host Manly 2 at Campbelltown Showground with plenty of motivation after their Round 9 loss to Randwick. Through seven rounds before that result, Campbelltown had been the Div 2 Cup’s dominant side, 253 points scored, just 62 conceded. Manly 2 are sixth on 17 points and will be tough opposition at Campbelltown’s home ground, but Campbelltown will be expected to return to form here and pick up the points they need to stay on top of the Div 2 Cup ladder.
Two Blues 2 v Randwick — Eric Tweedale Stadium | Sat 18 July, 9:00 AM
The standout fixture of the Div 2 Cup round. Randwick arrive at Eric Tweedale Stadium on the back of their best result of the season, a 60–12 win over Campbelltown in Round 9, and are firmly in the Div 2 Cup title conversation on 31 points. Two Blues 2 are seventh on 16 points and have had an inconsistent season, but will want to make their home ground count against a Randwick side playing the best rugby of their year. A Randwick win here strengthens their grip on third and keeps them within reach of the top two. A Two Blues 2 win would be a significant upset and adds a further twist to the title race.
