Sydney Uni have moved to second on 26 points, five wins from eight, after a strong away win at Manly Oval. Two Blues drop to third on 25 points after a surprise loss to Warringah. Manly remain fourth on 23 points with two games in hand, including the postponed Round 7 fixture against Gordon. Souths are fifth on 21 points from seven rounds, Warringah sixth on 19 points after picking up a notable win, Gordon seventh on 12, and Easts remain winless through eight rounds on 2 points.
Manly 22 v 29 Sydney Uni | Manly Oval
Sydney Uni produced one of the results of their season, winning 29–22 away at Manly Oval. Manly had been strong at home throughout the competition, but Sydney Uni were the better side on the day and have now moved to second on the Chikarovski Cup ladder. It’s a significant result for their finals push with two rounds remaining.
Wildfires 36 v 10 Gordon | Newcastle Uni
Wildfires were in control at Newcastle Uni, putting 36 points past Gordon and conceding only 10. Back-to-back wins after their Round 7 loss to Two Blues, and Wildfires move back to the top of the Chikarovski Cup ladder. Gordon remain seventh with two rounds to play.
Warringah 20 v 7 Two Blues | Eric Tweedale Stadium
The upset of the round. Warringah beat Two Blues 20–7 at Eric Tweedale Stadium — a result that shifts the top of the Chikarovski Cup table. Two Blues had been the form side coming in, but Warringah were the sharper team on the day and pick up a crucial win. It’s four wins from eight for Warringah, who are now sixth, and a timely reminder that the competition isn’t settled.
Easts 21 v 31 Souths | Woollahra Oval
Souths picked up the points they needed, winning 31–21 at Woollahra Oval. Easts showed more fight than their ladder position suggests, scoring 21 points, but Souths were clinical enough to close it out and move to fifth on the Chikarovski Cup table.

Div 2 Cup – Round 6 Results
The Div 2 Cup ladder has tightened significantly at the top. Campbelltown and Wildfires 2 are level on 24 points, Campbelltown unbeaten from five games, Wildfires 2 with five wins from six. Randwick drop to third on 21 points after a loss in Newcastle. West Harbour have moved to fourth on 17 points after a strong win. Two Blues 2 are fifth on 16 points after drawing with Norths Sirens. Norths Sirens are sixth on 12, Manly 2 seventh on 11, and Gordon 2, Chifley Chiefs, and Easts 2 remain at the foot of the table.

West Harbour were dominant at Concord Oval, winning 26–5 over Gordon 2. Three wins from six for West Harbour, who move to fourth on the Div 2 Cup ladder. Gordon 2 are yet to register a win through four completed rounds.

Wildfires 2 continued their impressive run, beating Randwick 29–14 in Newcastle.
