A full day of Sydney Women’s Rugby Union football is on this Saturday 23 May, with both the Chikarovski Cup and the Div 2 Cup in action. Here’s everything you need to know before the first kick-off.
Chikarovski Cup – Round 6
In the Chikarovski Cup, Wildfires lead the ladder on 23 points after five wins from six rounds, with Manly one point behind in second and a game in hand. Two Blues sit third on 20 points, still firmly in contention. Sydney Uni and Warringah are level on wins but separated by bonus points in fourth and fifth respectively, while Easts remain winless at the bottom of the table. Three Round 6 results are already in one fixture between Manly and Souths is yet to be played.
Wildfires continued their consistency with a 17–5 win over Warringah at Newcastle Sports Ground 2, keeping their place at the top of the Chikarovski Cup. Sydney Uni bounced back from their narrow Round 5 loss to Two Blues with a 32–5 win over Gordon at St John’s College Oval, a result that keeps them relevant in the finals conversation. Two Blues picked up a 21–5 win over Easts at Woollahra Oval, maintaining third on the ladder heading into the back half of the competition.
Manly v Souths — Venue TBC | Sat 23 May Manly come in off a strong 29–12 Round 5 win over Warringah and have been one of the Chikarovski Cup’s most clinical sides all season, scoring 156 points across five games. Souths have won two from five and will need to lift to cause an upset here. A Manly win keeps them in second and maintains pressure on Wildfires at the top of the table.

Div 2 Cup – Round 4
In the Div 2 Cup, Randwick lead the ladder on 16 points after three wins from four rounds. Campbelltown sit second on 14 points and remain unbeaten through three games. Wildfires 2 and Two Blues 2 are level with Campbelltown on 14 points each, with Two Blues 2 the form side of the competition right now after back-to-back big wins in Rounds 3 and 4. Norths Sirens and West Harbour occupy fifth and sixth, while Gordon 2, Chifley Chiefs, and Easts 2 are still searching for traction at the bottom of the table.
Four Round 4 results are already confirmed. Norths Sirens edged Manly 2 17–15 at Bon Andrews Oval in a tight contest. Campbelltown were dominant in their 46–0 win over Gordon 2 at Beauchamp Park, keeping their unbeaten record intact. Wildfires 2 backed up their Round 3 shut-out of Norths Sirens with a 27–10 win over West Harbour in Newcastle. Randwick continued their strong run with a 28–0 win over Chifley Chiefs at Coogee Oval. And Two Blues 2 put 42 past Easts 2 — their second consecutive 30-plus-point win — cementing themselves as genuine Div 2 Cup title contenders.

Two Blues 2 have scored 78 points across the last two rounds and are carrying the form of any side in the competition. Easts 2 are yet to register a win or a point this season. Two Blues 2 will be looking to maintain their scoring momentum and push further up the Div 2 Cup ladder.
Chifley Chiefs and Campbelltown have the day off this round. They will meet at Peter Van Hasselt Park on Thursday 4 June at 7:00 PM.
